Marta is an unbelievably outstanding Spanish instructor who I can’t recommend highly enough. She has been my Spanish professor for many years, and I have been the beneficiary of her extremely professional and effective instructional methods bringing me from a beginning A1 level all the way to C2.
Marta absolutely loves her work, which is evident in the passion and enthusiasm she brings to every session, every time. Marta takes students where they are and adjusts her style and techniques for each student, even in group settings where the levels vary significantly, so that everyone learns in a way that is best for him or her.
If that were not enough to set Marta apart from most instructors that I have observed over the years, what makes her truly special is that she also has the uncanny ability to push students beyond where they think they can go without the student realizing how they were able to achieve their success – all while having fun and a great time in the process.
Maybe the highest praise I can give is that Marta is a genuinely wonderful, compassionate person who cares deeply about her students. I have had the honor and pleasure to become a dear friend and even a part of her family with whom I have stayed in Spain and vacationed with in the U.S.
